  • What is ANZ Hackfest 2024?
    • Hackfest is a coding event where programmers, designers and developers collaborate to solve a problem and compete for prizes.

  • Why should I participate in a hackathon?
    • Being part of hackathon gives you an opportunity to collaborate, network and come up with interesting solutions for the theme challenges mentioned. Moreover, it’s all about having fun and above all bringing your idea to light.

  • How can I participate in ANZ Hackfest 2024?

  • Who can participate in ANZ Hackfest 2024?
    • If you are a techie, an engineer, coder, problem solver or someone who has amazing ideas around – “How Generative AI can power, engineer and protect the next wave of banking industry”. Then you are the one we are looking for.
      Absolutely Yes! We have put together few ground rules to ensure fair and honest competition and ofcourse skills that will help you to crack the code.

  • Do I need to form a team or can I participate as an individual?
    • ANZ Hackfest 2024 is a team event so collaborating with others is highly encouraged. The team size can range from 3 to 6 members.

  • Where can I get more information regarding the event?
    • We've scheduled drop-in sessions where you'll have the opportunity to delve deeper into the theme/sub-theme details. Additionally, we'll organize Q&A sessions to address any doubts regarding registration or any phase of the event. Click here for the Knowledge Centre.

  • Is there anything that I need to prepare?
    • Make sure you team up with like-minded individuals, infuse it with enthusiasm, creativity, and innovative ideas, and you're all set to go.

  • Are there any registration costs that I need to bear?
    • Absolutely not! This is event is free to register and participate in.

  • Will I be working on a specific problem statement to give my solution?
    • The details of the theme/sub-themes are in the Themes tab of the Hackfest portal which should give you fair idea about the problem statement. Also, attending the drop-in sessions conducted by the ANZ team would really help to delve in to problem statement more deeper.

  • Are there any prizes to be won?
    • Absolutely! All the winners will be rewarded. Check out our portal [homepage][3] for details.

  • How will teams be judged?
    • The initial submissions will be reviewed and shortlisted by the jury, which will be announced on July 19th. Successful participants will then need to prepare for a final presentation of their working prototype to the jury on August 9th.

  • Who will be judging?
    • We have an eminent panel of judges from various organizations. They will be announced soon. Stay tuned for updates!

  • What is expected as part of 28th June submission?
    • We request participant to submit the below details:
      • Team ID: Team Name (e.g., Code Crackerz)
      • Presentation for your idea, including the problem statement, solution, time to market, and any additional details you wish to include.
      • Demo: This is not mandatory. If you have a working model, please provide the link. Otherwise, leave this section blank.
      • Video URL: Optionally, you can provide a brief explanation of your idea within 2-3 minutes.
      • Sub-theme: Specify the sub-theme your idea aligns with.

  • Do we need to submit POC by 28th June?
    • No, we don't expect working POC to be submitted by 28th June. We are happy to accept the idea with above required submission details.

  • What would be the evaluation criteria?
    • The idea will be evaluated based on below criteria:
